Reed are looking for a dedicated Sheet Metal Worker to join our clients production team. This role involves the fabrication, adjustment, and repair of aerospace components, specialising in thin gauge aluminium, steel, and titanium. • Adhere to technical drawings, instructions, and processes to fabricate sheet metal products with precision.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines and hand tools to cut, bend, and straighten metal materials.
• Shape sheet metal over anvils, blocks, or forms, ensuring accurate dimensions and smooth finishes.
• Support the training of new employees or less experienced team members as required.
• Maintain a safe working environment by working in accordance with all company health and safety procedures.

• Proficiency in using tools such as shrinkers, stretchers, straighteners, English wheels, and rollers to create profiles of parts.
• Understanding of metal behaviour during forming.
• Experience working with titanium, steel, and aluminium.
• Panel beater skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documents.
• Familiarity with first-off inspection procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under own initiative.
• No welding experience is required.
