We are looking for Children & Young Person's Support Workers to work Weekends and or School Holidays. This position is part-time across Central Durham. (DH1) and The Stanley area (DH9).

You will be required to support children with learning difficulties, autism, and further complex needs in a hub model and or out in the community.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting children with daily activities
• Delivering Person-Centered Care
• Safeguarding children at all times
• Creating and maintaining positive relationships with the children and young people
• Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural, and cultural needs of the children
• Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or additional needs
• Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills
• Support individuals in participating in community activities
• Document and report any changes in behaviour or health status to the appropriate supervisor and provide accurate record keeping
• General housekeeping

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of individuals
