Title: Air Tightness Consultant

We are looking for an Air Tightness Consultant to join a leading technical consultancy in the UK. This consultancy specialises in helping clients maintain compliance with UK building regulations and legislation by providing expert guidance from their team of specialist consultants. They offer a wide range of inspection services throughout the building process to ensure compliance with British standards for both residential and commercial properties.

The Air Tightness Consultant position involves a range of key responsibilities. This includes conducting pre-test inspections to offer cost estimates and ensuring that all necessary equipment is brought to the site. The role also involves engaging with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth onsite work, writing detailed technical reports, addressing building issues to ensure compliance, and providing actionable remedial advice that is measurable and effective.

Training and developmentCandidates for the Air Tightness Consultant position should have extensive experience in the Air Tightness sector and hold ATTMA certifications at level 1. Level 2 certification would be advantageous. The candidate must have a proven ability to work onsite, conduct tests, and write detailed technical reports. It is essential for the candidate to be local to or able to commute to the Leicester office.
