The Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic, friendly and intelligent Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller who’s up for an exciting opportunity to come and join our Finance team, our business is growing quickly, and as it moves into its next stage of growth, we’re bringing someone into the business responsible for addressing the business needs for financial compliance, reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Daily banking, payment allocation, and reconciling to cash audit trail.
- Opening new accounts and credit request analysis.
- Collection of monies via various communication methods.
- Query management. (Accurate and timely recording of queries)
- Query investigation and resolution. (Liaising with sales and operations)
- Weekly cash flow forecasts & variances.
- Weekly review of Aged Debt Analysis (to ensure a clear ledger).
- Daily prompt despatch of invoices, statements and reminders.
- Month End closure and Sales Ledger reporting (ADA Reports)
- Monthly Analysis of Credit balances.
- Major Account Management and Reconciliation where required.
- Regular internal or external meetings to build relationships.
- Accounts payable when required
- Reconciling intercompany balances
- Help accounts payable when required
- Assist with month/year end reconciliations

- Knowledge of stock and costs accounting
Skills - Essential:
- Advance Excel Knowledge -- from DAX, Power Pivot, and Excel Formulas
- A strong communicator between departments, able to communicate clearly whether this is with customers, teams and directors where needed.
- Extremely Pro-Active, enjoys a challenge and will not be afraid to get stuck in!
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced business environment, demonstrating flexibility and mental agility
- A Level educated / AAT - study support offered
