About the role:

SEN TA: We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in challenging behaviours to join a vibrant primary school in Islington. You will work closely with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, supporting them with behaviour management strategies and personalised learning. Application Requirements:
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with SEN or challenging behaviours

.• Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and emotional support techniques

.• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A patient, empathetic approach to supporting students with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with challenging behaviours

.• Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies and individual education plans (IEPs).

• Promote positive behaviours and help develop students' social and emotional skills

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and class teacher.
