Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a dynamic New Product Development Manager to drive their product offerings to the next level.

Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in product development and manufacturing, such as containers or packaging. They should also possess excellent customer liaison skills and a strong technical understanding of creative solutions, engineering, and design, along with solid commercial acumen to lead this innovative division.

As the New Product Development Manager, you will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring that new products align with the company's brand values and market position. You will lead a talented team, collaborate with key stakeholders, and drive innovation to meet market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and Manage: Oversee the entire product development process, managing cross-functional teams to deliver new product lines on time and within budget.

* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a clear product development strategy aligned with the company's business goals and market trends.

* Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps, translating insights into actionable product development plans.

* Product Design & Development: Drive the design and development of innovative products, ensuring they meet quality standards and brand identity.

* Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all stages of product development are executed efficiently from ideation to production.

* Customer Liaison: Engage with customers throughout the full product cycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

* Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure cohesive product development and successful product launches.

* Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and external partners to manage production timelines, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

* Quality Control: Ensure all new products meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.

* Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the product development budget, tracking costs and ensuring projects remain financially viable.

* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the product development lifecycle to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Proven experience in a senior product development or project management role, ideally within luxury product manufacturing, containers, or packaging sectors.

* Demonstrated success in bringing new products to market from concept to launch.

* Strong customer liaison experience, with the ability to manage relationships throughout the full customer cycle.

* Excellent technical understanding of creative solutions, engineering, and design processes.

* Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams.

* Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop financially viable product strategies.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control is highly desirable.

* A degree in Product Design, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
