The Chace People team is seeking an experienced and nurturing full-time early years educator/governess for a busy, professional family in West London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic household, where you will play a key role in the children's daily lives and development.

Job Overview for Early Years Educator/Governess Role:

As a early years educator/governess you will be responsible for creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for the children. The role includes managing daily routines, organising activities, and ensuring the children's well-being. You will work closely with the parents and other household staff, providing consistent and reliable care, with flexibility to travel as needed. The family are ideally looking for a Nanny who can offer a 6-day working week and occasional overnight stays. This may be flexible and open to discussion for the right person.

Key Responsibilities for Early Years Educator/Governess Role:

  • Provide attentive and compassionate care for young children
  • Manage daily routines, including meals, naps, and activities
  • Plan and execute engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Maintain a clean and organised environment for the children
  • Collaborate with other household staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Flexibility to accompany the family on domestic and international travel, which can be for extended periods of time

Requirements for Early Years Educator/Governess Role:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role, particularly with infants and toddlers
  • Strong understanding of child development and early education; familiarity with Montessori education is desirable
  • Ability to adapt to the family's needs, including flexibility with working hours and for travel
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent references and a legal right to work in the UK
