Overview

As a member of our benefits and HR consulting team, you’ll help our clients -- employers of all sizes, across all industries -- build workplaces that work better. In this role you’ll provide proactive and efficient administration of Corporate Group Risk and Group Healthcare schemes. You’ll also deliver professional and high-quality administration service to all clients, colleagues and other third parties.


How you'll make an impact

  • Developing internal and external relationships to provide efficient service to clients and manage their expectations
  • Collaborating closely with Associate Consultants, Consultants, and insurers/product providers for business quotations and information
  • Working collaboratively in a team to deliver an outstanding administration service to both internal and external clients
  • Assisting with client requests, queries, and general client correspondence
  • Processing new business, re-brokes, scheme renewals, underwriting, and claims in a compliant and profitable manner
  • Adhering to specific time deadlines and service levels agreed with clients and line management
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records, particularly in Adviser Office (CRM) & Virtual Cabinet software
  • Maintaining a diary system to facilitate efficient oversight and workflow within the team
  • Performing general office filing and maintenance tasks
  • Carrying out all duties in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance, and Gallagher's shared values, with a focus on putting clients at the heart of the business.

About You

  • Proven administration experience of Group Life assurance, Group Income Protection, Group Critical Illness, and Group Healthcare
  • Proven experience in Financial Services administration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
  • Keeping up to date with industry changes and regulations through Compliance bulletins and technical updates
  • IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and relevant internal systems/databases
  • Awareness of the regulatory requirements for 'advised' and 'non-advised' sales, including the standards and knowledge required for giving advice and making recommendations to customers
  • Good standard of general education, including Maths and English
  • CII Group Risk (GR1) and Healthcare (IF7) certifications (Desirable)
  • Eligible to work in the UK
