Quantity Surveyor/Estimator Civils/Earthworks Hampshire

The Company

An established multidisciplined contractor offering demolition, remediation, earthworks, waste management, recycling, aggregates and ready mixed concrete to contractors and property developers. They have an annual turnover in excess of £50 million.

The Role

An opening for either an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor that has civils/earthworks experience. You will join an existing team where some of your duties will include;

* Working alongside the Work Winning Manager preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities

* Advising on procurement strategy.

* Pricing and submission of specification alternatives

* Attend Pre-Start Meetings

* Measurement of all elements of the project works

* Site Visits

* Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks

* Preparation of monthly valuations, including all supporting information for materials on site, variations and measurement

* CVR Reports

The Requirements

* You must have at least 2 years experience working on Civils/Earthworks projects as either a QS or Estimator.

* You must have a full clean driving licence.

* Have strong communication skills
