We are currently working with an 'Outstanding' Primary School is located in Orpington who are recruiting for a KS2 class teacher for a long term role.

Our client is seeking a full time enthusiastic, caring and dedicated KS2 Class teacher to work 5 days per week to start in January 2025 to work until the summer holidays. They are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children in an exciting and dynamic environment, where the children are at the heart of everything they do.

This school has a welcoming and supportive staff and friendly, polite and enthusiastic children who enjoy their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Establish a safe, organised and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity, independence and celebrates pupils' achievements.

* To take responsibility for the progress of all pupils in the class.

* Set clear targets for pupils' learning, building on prior attainment, and ensuring pupils are aware of the substance and purpose of what they are asked to do

* To adhere to all school Safeguarding policies and procedure and to be familiar with and support the aims, ethos and policies of the school

* Work closely with parents and carers for the benefit of the children

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Experience teaching within a primary school with a good understanding of the Primary Curriculum.

* Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Have an understanding of Health and Safety and safeguarding requirements
