We are currently looking for 2 x HGV 2 drivers for our client based in Bury St Edmunds.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Key Duties

• Multiple customer deliveries in the local region (average of 1-15 drops daily)
• Drive Company HGV vehicles and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures & legislation
• Load your vehicle daily on return
• Provide a professional HGV driving service, to meet & exceed customer expectations
• Always comply with the vehicle security and standing procedure
• Carry out HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks (reporting defects) prior to the operation of any vehicle
• Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner
• Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting
• You be physically fit for this position as there will be an amount of lifting to do throughout the day
