Amour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Print Manager to help run a busy Pre-press department based in Portsmouth.

Key responsibilities:

• Train and motivate prepress staff to meet targets and requirements of the business.
• Liaising with clients and account managers.
• Action pre-flighted of customer-submitted files as part of the automation
• Troubleshoot any issues and, where necessary, correct files using Adobe Creative Cloud software products and Enfocus/Heidelberg plug-ins
• Communicate any queries or problems with production team members and account managers and ensure all client requirements are documented on Print IQ(MIS system)
• Prioritise and manage workflow, ensuring all jobs are completed on time and within schedule.

Personal requirements:

• A good knowledge of MacOS and Windows systems
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products, namely Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro and Photoshop plus Heidelberg and Enfocus Pitstop plug-ins.
• Previous experience with Heidelberg and Print IQ MIS (or similar software).
• A high level of attention to detail and understanding of colour.
• An excellent understanding of impositions and print production processes and practices.
