Description

The Validation Manager will:

Oversee validation activities for all manufacturing processes
Develop and implement strategic validation policies and protocols
Implement and maintain the validation master plan.
Collaborate with the Quality and Operations teams to improve processes
Support the Food Safety team, quality systems & technical investigations
Support the analysis of monitoring data to identify trends and opportunities to improve operational controls and guarantee optimum quality product.
Liaise with internal departmental stakeholders to provide validation guidance and expertise
Training and mentoring staff on validation methodologies
Reporting on validation activities and results to senior management
Liaise with external bodies and the wider company community to share and develop best practices with regards to validation, operational and quality standardsProfile

The successful Validation Manager will possess a range of the following:

Proven experience in a validation role within the FMCG/Pharmaceutical industry
Extensive knowledge of validation principles and industry regulations
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
Project Management skills
Demonstrable experience in a direct or indirect people management role
Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
Experience of managing FDA, FSCC2200 and ISO Accreditations
Level 3 HACCP (Level 4 advantageous)
Level 4 Food Hygiene

A competitive salary range of approximately £70,000 to £80,000, depending on experience.
