Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Head of Psychology to join a nationwide provider supporting children in residential homes across the country.

*Hybrid role, including national travel when required*

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will design, implement and oversee the therapy service. They will measure team performance, produce, and deliver information reports to be shared with divisional MDs and other senior leadership.

Additionally, they will line manage a team of psychologists/psychotherapists and ensure compliance with KPIs are maintained. This also includes identifying any areas of improvement.

Contract type - permanent

Hours - full time only , 37.5 hours per week

Salary - Up to £75,000 FTE depending on experience

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling/Forensic/ Educational Psychologist along with experience working with children and young people. You will have the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines. You will hold a strong record of achievement against KPI's in a similar environment, have the ability to negotiate and challenge, be team oriented and result focused.
