Reed Talent Professionals are supporting a reputable Housing Association based in Norwich in the search for HR Business Partner to join their friendly team and play a pivotal role in shaping, developing, and delivering HR services that reflect our core values and priorities.
The HRBP will provide support to large-scale change projects across the organisation. As well as technical expertise, a significant focus and requirement of the role is to demonstrate empathy, understanding and a ‘human’ approach, particularly when supporting colleagues through change.
Day to Day of the role:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders, influencing management teams to adopt best practice HR in support of business plans and objectives.
- Provide strategic and operational HR leadership to drive the delivery of the HR Strategy.
- Facilitate key HR areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Assist in building talent pipelines and driving resourcing plans within the business area(s).
- Work with management teams to define and develop organisational talent, addressing performance proactively.
- Offer up-to-date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates, develop policies in line with current legislation, and stay abreast of HR best practices and workplace trends.
- Strategise case management to effectively manage risk for the group.
- Advise on complex Employee Relations matters and interpret people data and analytics to influence decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the HR contact point for a wide range of HR activities, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, and performance management.
- Provide comprehensive workshops covering management responsibilities in HR best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree or equivalent experience in HR.
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills.
- Experience managing large scale change programmes such as TUPE or reorganisations.
- Relevant and demonstrable HR experience in large complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of current HR issues and trends, with evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Experience in a business partner model, creating positive business outcomes with local managers.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to contribute to new programmes and initiatives.
- Commercial insight with the ability to manage and identify risks.
