Our client is looking for a Project Manager to effectively manage and deliver construction contracts. The right candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The position will involve regular coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients. The role is office-based, with occasional travel to project sites and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily project operations ensuring smooth execution from design through to completion.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and suppliers
- Work closely with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.
- Monitor and manage budgets
- Track project scope and changes
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, analyse financial data, and contribute to revenue forecasts.
- Develop and update project work plans, adjusting timelines and resources to meet evolving requirements.
- Coordinate with the entire project team to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.
- Manage and facilitate the preparation of payment applications as required.
- Review and order materials based on CAD drawings and project requirements.
- Travel as needed to client meetings, project sites, and supplier locations
- Produce risk assessments and method statements specific to each project.
- Offer assistance to various business areas when necessary.
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Must have construction experience managing projects in the construction
- Strong ability to manage all aspects of a project, from budgeting and scheduling to coordination with various stakeholders.
- Highly self-driven with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet management (Excel) for tracking project timelines, budgets, resources, and technical data.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- High attention to detail, particularly in reviewing technical specifications and managing project documentation.
- A valid CSCS card or relevant certification.
- Driving license is essential.
