We are excited to announce the opening of a new Domiciliary Care service in Barking, set to launch in April. We are seeking a Registered Manager with a passion for care and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and shape the services of a start-up, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
Day-to-day of the role: - Oversee the daily operations of the Domiciliary Care service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead and manage staff, providing training and development opportunities to ensure a high standard of care services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with current legislation.
- Manage budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor the quality of care provided.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and external agencies.
- Ensure all care plans are person-centred, promoting independence and well-being.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Manager in Domiciliary Care or a similar setting.
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent understanding of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
