I am delighted to be working on behalf of a successful manufacturing company based in St Helens, who are looking for a financial controller to report directly into the Managing Director.

The role will involve having two direct reports along with completing the following duties:

• Oversee all finance and accounting processes
• Cashflow forecasts and cash management
• Year-end financial reporting, profit & loss, balance sheets
• Responsible for publishing the year-end financial reports
• Fixed asset, accruals, prepayments and inventory
• VAT returns, PAYE payments, HMRC returns
• Management accounts
• Reviewing aged debtors and pursue collection of debt when necessary
• HR and payroll responsibilities
• Support MD with budgeting

Skills:

• Preferable experience in manufacturing
• Extensive accounts knowledge including QBE or fully qualified
• Ability to manage the workload
