Caretaker/Premises Manager Role Location: Bexley Position: Caretaker/Premises Manager Start Date: 25th February End Date: 7th March Pay: GBP140 - GBP150 per day Prospero Teaching is working with a fantastic primary school in Bexley to recruit a reliable and hardworking Caretaker/Premises Manager for a short-term contract from 25th February to 7th March. About the Role: As the Caretaker/Premises Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the school's facilities are well-maintained, secure, and safe for staff and students. You'll be responsible for general maintenance tasks, overseeing health and safety procedures, and ensuring the premises are always in top condition. Key Responsibilities:
· General upkeep of school buildings and grounds
· Security of the premises (locking/unlocking, monitoring alarms)
· Responding to maintenance requests and completing repairs
· Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
· Liaising with school staff and management about any issues or improvements Requirements:
· Proven experience in a caretaker or premises manager role
· Good knowledge of health and safety standards
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
· Friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude
