Account Executive - IN-HOUSE

We are seeking an Account Executive who will be in house and be a key client-facing representative of our business. This role involves arranging and securing appropriate cover for new and existing clients and prospects, contributing to the growth of the business by identifying new sales opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Achieve annual and monthly new business and retention targets through effective networking and relationship building with clients and insurers.
  • Manage and expand the insurance department.
  • Collaborate with surveyors and other teams to ensure efficient handling of insurance matters.
  • Oversee insurance accounting to ensure accurate billing and collection of funds.
  • Work with partners such as Howden and Allianz to deliver our insurance offering.
  • Assist Directors in meeting the company’s income and retention targets.
  • Manage a portfolio of Corporate-level clients, developing long-term trusted advisor relationships.
  • Deliver account management services in line with the company’s service level agreements and renewal procedures.
  • Present new business proposals and renewal reports to existing and prospective clients.
  • Regularly review client needs, identify underinsurance or gaps in cover, and provide solutions.
  • Liaise between clients and the claims team to manage significant claims effectively.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes within the industry and support all company members as a knowledge base.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential: Minimum Cert CII, working towards Diploma level.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to build and manage relationships.
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and work to strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of company processes and goals.
  • Target driven, highly motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Team player with a professional and diligent approach.
  • Commitment to self-development and keeping learning modules up to date.
  • Technical knowledge in Financial Services market, insurer products, and client business structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with Acturis is desirable.
