About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Python/Django Developer to join a high-performing team managing large-scale government applications. This role involves end-to-end development, deployment, and support of mission-critical applications using Agile methodologies. Ideal for someone passionate about secure, scalable web development and contributing to public sector innovation.
Your Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and support web applications using Python/Django.
- Build, secure, and deploy RESTful APIs and modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly applications.
- Manage open-source databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL independently.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical direction to team members while supporting continuous improvement.
About You:- Proven experience as a lead developer or architect on Python/Django projects.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of web security best practices and application monitoring tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Bonus: Experience with WordPress, Wagtail, and hybrid cloud/on-premise environments.
