Headley Professional have a live vacancy with our joinery manufacturing client company, seeking a Commercial Manager, experienced in any or all of pre-construction, estimating, sales process, business development.

The main purpose of the role is to oversee the commercial functions of the operation; managing, estimating and processing customer enquiries ready to be passed on to Project teams.

The team is developed and flexible enough for the precise duties of the job to be altered. The role would suit, and we are seeking experienced professionals with backgrounds in estimating (construction, interiors and /or joinery), sales or BD, commercial management or similar.

Key duties to include:

* Client contact to fully understand the scope and nature of upcoming projects, maximising profitability and business opportunities

* Compilation of full and accurate quotations for projects across manufacture and installation, accounting for labour, materials, supplier costs etc.

* Detailing project requirements ready to pass to teams in Design, Production, Projects, acting as key point of client contact, and maintaining oversight as projects progress.

* Close liaison with Design and Production to maximise profitability of projects and manage costs in line with estimates.

* Oversight of workload of a Sales Support Coordinator

* Maintain and manage business relationships, emphasising customer service good communication

About you:

* We are looking for candidates with Commercial experience in the Joinery and / or Interiors sector

* Experience in Estimating, Sales, Business Development or similar.

* Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes

* Credible with clients - knowledgeable, good communicator, commitment to customer service

* Numerate, close attention to detail, commitment to getting the job right

* Confident to deal with colleagues in other internal departments

* Good attitude to work, professional and dedicated
