Assistant Store Manager

The Sales Recruitment Network is seeking an assistant store manager on behalf of a leading independent retail furniture chain. £25-30K base (DOE), guaranteed commission to give a realistic OTE of £45-65K.

Our client is a highly reputable and quality UK brand offering a range of products including sofas, beds, bedroom furniture, living and dining room furniture, with a strong pedigree of providing excellent products and great customer service.

The successful candidate will currently be a high performing Assistant Manager, or senior salesperson ready to take the next step in their retail career. We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic individual, with a can-do attitude, leadership skills and a team player with the ability to support the store manager and motivate the store sales team.

Your role/responsibilities will include:

• Selling our client’s products to customers in a positive manner.
• Supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Supervising the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Have passion and develop knowledge about all our client’s products.
• Achieving sales targets and increasing profits.
• Be able to listen to our client’s customers to meet their individual requirements by offering and selling suitable product solutions.
