Our client is looking for an Agronomist to join their team to cover the SADC region. The role can be based in Zimbabwe or Zambia.

Salary:

Responsibilities:

• Liaison between agronomic and hydraulic disciplines in irrigated agriculture
• Agronomy: research support and initiate relevant research projects, trials, presentations
• Sales support: before/after sales support and advice to producers/dealers/consultants, seminars/farmer's days, water analysis
• Training
• Develop new markets for Precision drip irrigation
• Focus on crops, role players and institutions within relevant areas
• Travel - The position entails traveling throughout the SADC countries.

• Marketing attitude and commercial related skills
• Capability to train
• Knowledge of low volume irrigation and fertigation
• Work experience in SADC countries

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree/Honours degree in Soil Science/Horticulture/Agronomy
• 5+ years' relevant working experience.
