Description

Key responsibilities consist of:

Lead and develop a high performing team within the customer service department.
Ensure all customer queries and complaints are handled promptly and effectively.
Monitor team performance, provide feedback and implement necessary improvements.
Regularly report to senior management on team performance and customer feedback.
Collaborate with other departments to optimise customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service policies.
Promote a positive and professional work environment.
Consistently maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.Profile

A successful Trade Team Leader should have:

A degree in Business Management or a related field.
Proven experience in a team leader role within the customer service department.
Ensuring all dispatches are correctly invoiced and allocated.
Handling and allocating all payments, including cash and credit card transactions, and arranging bank and end-of-day reconciliations.
Coordinating with colleagues to manage and collect outstanding uncollected products within a reasonable timeline.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong understanding of customer service techniques.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Inputting sales orders, quotes, and enquiries both in person and online.
Managing the aged debt profile for trade counter customers to ensure adherence to credit terms.
Approving and issuing customer credits promptly.
Making ad hoc and scheduled calls to and from customers regarding sales orders, quotes, and enquiries.
Managing transport routing, administration, and paperwork.
Administering and releasing portal orders.
Liaising with external couriers for deliveries and collections, ensuring effective customer communication.
Keeping showroom samples updated and listed on a spreadsheet.
Updating the CRM system with tasks and customer interactions.
