This role would be well suited to individuals who have worked within yard operative roles or material or labs roles who have a solid understanding of construction materials

Salary: 25,000 - 32,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 - 16:00 or equivalent

Location: Office based - Greenwich

Role Responsibilities:

• Routine inspections, sampling and testing Aggregate/recycled and Earthworks materials, Concrete and Asphalt
• Leading the production of compressive strength specimens
• Taking part in research and development projects
• Particle size and density testing
• Physical material trials, reporting findings and specific progress

Desirable:

• Previous experience as a construction materials technician, an asphalt/ready mix concrete technician or as a site technician, groundworker, yard operative or laboratory technician within construction.
• in granular materials sampling, particle size distribution testing and strength testing would be beneficial.
• Desire to learn and develop within a brand-new role, attitude is crucial!
