Key Responsibilities:

* Provide skilled nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

* Assist the surgical team in maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

* Prepare patients for surgery, offering reassurance and support.

* Work alongside surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth surgical procedures.

* Monitor patient recovery in the post-operative phase, ensuring their safety and comfort.

* Adhere to best practice and regulatory standards to maintain high-quality care.

Requirements:

* Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration.

* Experience in a theatre setting is desirable but not essential - training will be provided.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

* Commitment to patient safety and high standards of care.
