Client Services Director, PR Agency, Bristol
£60k to £70k negotiable, hybrid working just 30 mins from central Bristol, near the M5.
Senior level role in a small, hugely successful and growing PR agency specialising in property, construction, financial servces and fintech
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of agency operations, with a strong emphasis on team development and operational efficiency, this role is pivotal in driving the agency’s success by fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring commercial efficiency, and delivering exceptional client service.
The overarching objective is the day-to-day management of business operations, and free up the CEO to concentrate on key activities such as client relationships, client strategy and agency growth.
There is a high element of client services and team leadership, as well as needing to get your sleeves rolled up and offer clear direction and assistance to team members, including at times account management and delivery of projects directly with clients, including writing, developing and maintaining accounts and media relations.
The role reports directly to the CEO, who is looking for a true leader for the business who will take responsibility for day to day operations and management while being very keen to also keep involved at a tactical level with clients and team members.
Skills to include
- Senior account management skills in a PR agency, at Senior Account Director, Client Services Director level, including working in financial services, construction, property or fintech.
- Team leadership skills and experience, including recruitment, training, people management and general operational management.
- Excellent writing skills, and a willingness to use those skills in client projects, written work, proposals and training.
- Solid and current media relations experience and skills, for both direct use and for the training and development of the team.
- Based in the office/hybrid working, to be negotiated, but definitely few days a week in the office for team working and training purposes.
Generous benefits and salary, circa £60k to £70k (negotiable)
