A successful, privately-owned technology business in North Cambridge, Cambridgeshire are now looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join their R&D team. They design and manufacture products based around thermal technology that are used in the security, aerospace, military and industrial industries.  

Key responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer role:

The design and development of new and existing products, which includes analogue and digital circuit design and PCB layout
Contribute to project development
Work closely with the mechanical, software and production engineers on the design and development of products
Key skills required for the Electronics Design Engineer role:

Analogue and digital circuit design
PCB layout / design
A knowledge of EMC
Good understanding of various technologies including system design, FPGAs (VHDL or Verilog), DSPs, motor control or opto-electronics would be beneficial but not essential
