As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dynamic Compliance Manager to support their Risk & Compliance function.

The Role:
As Compliance Manager, you will be an integral part of the Quality & Compliance team, ensuring that the firm's operations adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Your expertise will help maintain the firm's crucial accreditations, such as Lexcel and CQS, while also addressing compliance and risk management queries with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Support: Assist in the smooth running of compliance and risk management functions, ensuring adherence to the firm's policies and procedures.
  • Accreditations Maintenance: Help maintain key accreditations and memberships, keeping the firm's competitive edge sharp.
  • Risk Management: Act as the primary point of contact for compliance queries, including SRA conflicts, GDPR issues, and data breaches, escalating matters when necessary.
  • Reporting: Produce regular and ad hoc reports to keep the team informed and proactive in managing compliance.
  • Training & Development: Collaborate with the team to provide training and updates on compliance matters, ensuring all staff are up to date with current policies.
  • Policy Management: Draft, update, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures across the firm.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay ahead of industry developments and ensure the team is informed of any relevant changes in the legal landscape.
  • Continuous Improvement: Be proactive in identifying and implementing efficiencies and improvements within the firm's compliance practices.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of SRA codes, AML regulations, and compliance in professional services.
  • Experience in legal audit and risk management is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and document drafting skills.
  • Resilient and able to thrive under pressure, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

Qualifications:
