About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Dispatch Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and assurance of train dispatch systems for a major rail programme. Reporting to the Lead Security Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering requirements, standards, technical specifications, and system architectures, ensuring they meet operational, safety, and environmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop requirements, integration specifications, and solutions for train dispatch systems.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver holistic system designs.

* Provide technical expertise for testing, commissioning, and risk management.

* Oversee system interfaces with project packages and third-party systems.

* Ensure compliance with CDM, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

About You:
We are looking for candidates with the following:

* Chartered Engineer status or equivalent knowledge in a relevant engineering discipline.

* Extensive experience with train dispatch systems, video surveillance, or similar railway systems.

* Strong knowledge of safety integrity level (SIL2) systems and railway system integration.

* Proven experience in delivering large, multidisciplinary engineering projects.

* Skills in digital engineering tools, technical assurance, and risk management.

* A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving in complex environments.
