Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Thatcham as an Administrator. You will be assisting the Administration Manager in maintaining a smooth running and efficient office by dealing with all administrative functions and helping with the scheduling of regular events and meetings. The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator and should be exceptionally well-organised with strong administration and IT skills.

  • Location: Thatcham, fully office based
  • Working Hours: 8:30AM - 5pm
  • Salary - £26k - £27k (depending on experience)

As the Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • To assist with the organisation of administration for relevant business events
  • Produce various documents, letters, email, presentations.
  • Answering phones, dealing with enquiries, and taking messages
  • Taking and producing notes/minutes of meetings
  • Preparing and updating presentation material
  • Providing general office support including filing and photocopying
  • To undertake such other tasks as directed by the Administration Manager

The successful Administrator will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Proven track record of successful administration support
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to minute meetings accurately on a weekly basis
  • Confident working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and good and accurate typing speed
  • Good judgement and the ability to demonstrate initiative and common sense.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative, quickly and calmly under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, multi-task and recall information and facts with good attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach
  • Good literacy skills to prepare correspondence and reports and maintain records to a high standard.
  • The ability to work as a member of a team and perform to the highest standards.
  • Excellent telephone manner
