We are working with a leading civil engineering consultancy to find an exceptional Principal Engineer to join their growing team in Birmingham. The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal Engineer to manage and deliver civil engineering design elements on complex projects. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation within the civil engineering discipline, ensuring the consultancy remains at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
·Managing civil engineering design aspects of projects across multiple sectors.
·Delivering high-quality designs using software such as Microdrainage, AutoCAD, Civil3D, PDS, InfoDrainage, Site 3D, and SUDS.
·Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
·Designing highways and road infrastructure.
·Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication and collaboration.
·Managing multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and either hold or be working towards Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer status. They should demonstrate:
·A proven track record of managing and designing a variety of civil engineering projects.
·Expertise in drainage, highways, and flood risk management.
·Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
·Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
·Creativity, vision, and problem-solving abilities to deliver innovative solutions.
