A compassionate and dynamic Centre Manager / Charity Leader is needed to join the team at St Christopher's Community Centre based in Bradford on a full-time basis.

This is a pivotal opportunity to join a respected and well-established community charity as it enters an exciting new phase of growth and development. With a 30-year legacy and over 400 visitors every week, we are looking for someone who can bring energy, leadership and a strong sense of purpose to help build community, hope and opportunity for the people of Holmewood.

You'll be working alongside an experienced trustee board and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers to lead and shape the future of the newly merged organisation - combining the work currently delivered through the Family Centre and the Good Neighbours Project.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clear strategic and day-to-day leadership across all aspects of St Christopher's Community Centre
Work with trustees to develop a strong vision and strategy for the future
Lead and support the delivery of activities for children, young people, families, and older people
Inspire and manage a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring safeguarding and inclusive practices
Manage budgets and oversee funding applications and reporting
Build relationships and partnerships across the local voluntary and statutory sectors
Maintain excellent communication and ensure the Centre's impact is clearly demonstrated
Oversee operational systems and ensure legal compliance and good governance
Work closely with trustees to keep the organisation sustainable and forward-looking
Required Skills:

Significant leadership or management experience within a charity or voluntary organisation
Demonstrated ability to manage teams and lead inclusive, people-focused services
Experience of managing budgets, fundraising, and reporting to stakeholders
Skilled in developing and delivering programmes for at least one of the Centre's core groups (older people, children and young people, or young families)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker with a hands-on, can-do approach
Knowledge of safeguarding and charity governance
Ability to work collaboratively, flexibly, and independently
