Production Technician - £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE) + Company Benefits

Ideally located within an hour's commute from Eastbourne, Hastings, Uckfield, Burgess Hill, Crawley, Tonbridge, Brighton, Horsham, Worthing.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join our team. The Production Technician will be part of the team responsible for setting up and operating plant machinery and equipment.

Production Technician Key Responsibilities:

* Work with the Production Team to complete production orders.

* Safely load products, equipment, raw materials to the designated area/machines.

* Thoroughly clean equipment, machinery and its components.

* Operate machinery/equipment using PLC systems.

* Perform scheduled maintenance tasks.

* Test products/materials using specific test & laboratory equipment.

* Maintain a clean, organised workspace and adhere to safe practices.

* Operate an overhead crane.

Production Technician Knowledge and Skills:

* Prior experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment operating machinery.

* Mechanical knowledge would be preferred; however, we are open on prior experience depending on technical knowledge and abilities.

* Experience maintaining and looking after equipment, cleaning and upkeep.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently when necessary.

* Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

* Valid driver's license.

* Basic computer skills.

* Comprehensive training using all the equipment and machinery will be provided.
