Senior Commercial Manager | Global Advertising Media Company | £75,000 - £85,000 | 12 Month FTC

Role responsibilities:
- Ownership for financial performance across client contracts, drive on key opportunities across the regions and direct collaboration with the commercial director on implementing on strategy for global accounts
- Working alongside the CEO and VPs to act as a client lead in supporting fee renewals and line proposals across different market teams.
- Key point of contact for finance and commercial queries, essentially articulating clear financial commentary on commercial terms and aligning with global commercial policy
- Implement and design strategies and offer extensive pitch submissions with close partnership with commercial director, interacting with local market teams in preparing support for fee proposals. During the pitch process, it's expected to suggest, challenge where necessary, and question market submissions to ensure the company's fee proposal is both profitable and competitive.
- Ensure all commercial pitches are reviewed, commercial summaries, and accurately provide reports, and pitch deadlines are met.
- Managing relationships across CFO’s across the companies network to gather commercial information, and provide expertise on contract compliance.
- Provide commercialised financial commentary on reports with regional clients including debtors, unbilled media and rebates, with questioning and pushing back on any differences to ensure the correct information is provided to stakeholders.
- Ownership of performance-related fee calculations (PRIP, bonus, malus structures) for regional clients, with market-specific application where relevant.
- Hold high level negotiations with local CFOs on annual fee renegotiation, and managing client leads, directors across the EMEA markets to collate all financial data ensuring client profitability, and roadmaps are created with accurate financial information.
- Providing key contributions within the EMEA commercial programmes.
Qualifications/skills and experience
- Qaulified accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA / 2 days hybrid working
- Proven experience across 3-4 multi market pitches (essential)
- 3-5 years’ experience of commercial awareness and analysis
- Media experience in the marketing services is a must
- Very strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a proven ability to perform under pressure
- Highly organised and adept at managing multiple projects, consistently meting tight deadlines
- Self motivated with the ability to collaborate across all markets and levels
- Available on short notice (2 weeks notice) but ideally immediately available
