Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity is available for a Maintenance Engineer at a leading Manufacturing company in Driffield. The company is currently enhancing the factory with new machinery installations. The role involves handling both reactive and planned maintenance. Successful candidates will benefit from comprehensive training, opportunities for advancement.

Maintenance Engineer skills required:
* Addressing machinery breakdowns across the factory, diagnosing faults, and ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed and logged in the CMMS.
* Collaborating with production to swiftly respond to machinery breakdowns, minimising production downtime.
* Implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, continuously seeking and suggesting further improvements.
* Overseeing machinery installations, relocations, and modifications.

Experience needed for Maintenance Engineer:
* Background in FMCG/Manufacturing/Production settings.
* At least a Level 3 engineering qualification and electrical certification.
* Proficiency in industrial maintenance, including:
* Installation of plant machinery
* Electrical and mechanical skills
* Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Maintenance of large-scale industrial equipment and machinery.

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have an electrical bias and will work on a rotating shift pattern of days and nights every two weeks.

Salary: £40,000 - £41,000 annually, for a 42-hour work week, with the possibility of additional paid overtime.
