CMC Consulting has partnered with a well-established company operating multiple venues across the UK and internationally. They are seeking a dedicated sole Credit Controller to join their finance team. In this dynamic environment, you will be expected to hit the ground running and take ownership of the role. Strong communication skills are essential, and proficiency in IT will be a valuable asset to your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Credit Control: Manage credit control activities, including escalation of overdue accounts when necessary.
2. Implement Policies & Procedures: Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate debt collection.
3. Customer Account Reconciliation: Ensure accurate reconciliation of customer accounts.
4. Invoicing: Generate sales invoices and applications in a timely manner.
5. Posting & Allocation: Post and allocate invoices, credit notes, and receipts using SAGE Line 50.
6. Bank Reconciliation: Assist with the bank reconciliation process to ensure financial accuracy.
7. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide additional analysis and support as required by the business.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in credit control and account reconciliation.
• Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to develop and enforce credit control policies.
• Proficiency in SAGE Line 50, MS office and IT skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
