Vision Teaching are currently on the lookout for a confidenr, passionate and energetic SEN TA to join and Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Hounslow. This will be a long-term role to start in September 2024. The ideal KS1 SEN TA will be someone who wants to make a difference and enjoys working with pupils with various needs. Experience with SEND would be ideal.

As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning and behavioural needs. Your responsibilities will include:

The role

Assisting students in the classroom to ensure their engagement and understanding.

Providing one-on-one support to students with various needs such as ADHD, ASD and behavioural needs

Working with small groups to help break down learning.

Collaborating with teachers and the SEN department to create tailored learning plans.

Encouraging independence, confidence, and a love for learning amongst students

The ideal candidate will be:

Nurturing and patient with students with SEN

Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills

Someone who has a 'can do' attitude

Have experience working with pupils with SEND 

Requirements

Reference confirming suitability for the role

An understanding of safeguarding

An Enhanced DBS
