Job title: Reliability Engineer Job location: Derby, East MidlandsShifts: Monday - Friday Office hoursRates: £60,000 Per annum Hours per week: 42 Average.Role Profile As a Fleet Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical expertise for all aspects of Reliability Engineering related to Rolling Stock. This will include the creation, maintenance and management of fleet specific reliability growth plans, analysis of reliability data, and the identification of actions to ensure technical and contractual performance targets for fleets are achieved. The role will act as the prime technical, performance and reliability interface on client's operational sites, especially where performance targets are a contractual requirement. The principle responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:* Drive technical reliability analysis and associated reporting* Provide report summaries of incidents counts, and provide analysis of data used for reliability and quality metrics* Drive development and implementation of fleet / system reliability growth plans to meet technical and contractual targets on fleet performance* Support development and implementation of FRACAS / WIM Processes and Procedures to ensure correct identification of root cause.* Support technical / reliability review meetings* Implement fleet specific Reliability and Product Improvement Plans, ensuring it is harmonised with all departments and is compliant with Quality/ISO certifications and audits inclusive of RX creation and distribution.* Ensure wider engineering team correctly prioritise FRACAS / WIM items in accordance their criticality* Ensure any items flagged as applicable for FRACAS / WIM process to be tracked and included on reliability growth plan* Support Through-Life-Care model within to enhance reliability and performance through our relevant products.* To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be requiredRole requirements:* Previous experience on rolling stock required.* Knowledge and proven track record working with modern train systems and FRACASEducation Level:HNC / HND / Degree in an Engineering discipline is required Contact Information:Email: Phone: PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots)Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
