SEN Nurture Teacher

Introduction

Qualiteach Yorkshire are currently partnered with a SEN school based in Pontefract who are looking to recruit a full-time SEN Nurture Teacher on a permanent basis.

Job Title Responsibilities

* Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class/es ensuring equality of opportunity for all

* Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach

* Have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs; gifted and talented; EAL; disabilities; and be able to use and evaluate distinctive teaching approaches to engage and support them

Job Title Requirements

* PGCE with QTS in either primary or secondary

* Experience of or a strong proven desire to work with pupils with social, emotional and mental health need

* At least 3 years' experience of working in a primary, secondary or special school.
