We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer / Principal Electronic Design Engineer to join a Cambridge based R&D company who are developing state-of-the-art medical devices technology.You will be a dynamic individual and looking to take the next step in your career. This integral role will see you become the figurehead for electronics design and development, running a small team and overseeing product development to launch, liaising with customers, fostering relationships, project management and being the conduit between the development team and senior stakeholders.In return you can expect a very competitive salary, excellent benefits package and first class R&D facilities.  Principal Electronics Design Engineer requirements

• Excellent academics – At least a 2:1 Degree in electronic engineering or physics or a relevant discipline from a top University.
• Recent and extensive experience in analogue and digital design.
• Skilled in embedded software development (C / C++ )
• Experience working as a Technical Lead / Project Manager / Mentor
• Proven track record of electronic circuit design and electronic system design innovation.
• Practical electronics skills (soldering, wiring, bench work, PCBs, etc)
• Previous experience in medical devices development beneficial
• Full product development experience (from conception to prototype to manufacture) beneficial.
• Project management, project management, technical sales, customer/client liaison experience beneficial
