Chilled Warehouse Team Leader - FMCG, Food Distribution

Location: Chippenham, own transport is required

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000.

Permanent, full-time.

Shift Times: 4 on 4 off, 10am to 10pm.

Duties:

* Lead and guide a large team responsible for the receipt, picking and returns of product.

* Control all movement of stock and checking of codes against tickets. Inventory Management.

* Ensure the cleanliness of the Warehouse is maintained at all times providing a safe working environment

* Supervise the safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, overseeing day to day operations

* Support and monitor team performance, encouraging them to do their job to the best of their ability

* Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a leadership role within Logistics, dispatch or warehouse

* Knowledge of stock control, inventory management and WMS.

* Understanding of Health and Safety regulations

* Experience within a food production environment would be preferred but not essential.
