I'm currently working with a well-known firm in London who are seeking an ambitious and experienced Accounts Manager to join their dynamic corporate team. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and have managed a portfolio in their current/previous position.

What you will be doing as an Accounts Manager

• Responsible for managing and providing accounting advice and compliance services to a broad range of clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction while supporting the development of team members.
• Assist with managing the expectations of partners and key staff to ensure projects and work are completed within realistic timeframes.
• Delegate effectively, providing clear instructions, setting objectives, and meeting deadlines for the accounts team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients, ensuring consistent communication and resolution of client issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of work and enhance team integration.
• Stay up to date with practice management activities and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Continuously develop and maintain technical knowledge through reading, courses, and meeting CPD requirements.

What you will need to succeed as an Accounts Manager

• ?Fully qualified Accountant
• Review and finalise year-end accounts for both complex and high-profile clients.
• Provide guidance to senior team members and answer queries as needed.
• Review work produced by senior and junior team members to support their development.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to maintain professional relationships.
• Strong technical, commercial, and risk awareness, with the ability to apply technical excellence and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to provide high-quality work and superior client service.
• Confident in dealing with partners, staff, and clients, responding to needs efficiently and professionally.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage a diverse workload, and meet deadlines.
