Recruitment Assistant

Location: Southampton

Date: 24/03/2025 - 27/06/2025

Shift Pattern/ Hours : 09:00 am to 17:00 pm / Hybrid

Salary: £14.46 / hour

The role:

What you will be responsible for:

Provide customer-focused recruitment services using an e-recruitment platform.
Support recruiting managers with queries, documentation, and recruitment processes.
Ensure recruitment compliance with statutory requirements and Council policies.
Maintain recruitment records and provide management information on trends.
Manage pre-employment checks and new starter documentation.
Update vacancy information and share it across job sites and agencies.
Liaise with resourcing partners and support recruitment assessments.Requirements:

Experience of delivering an excellent customer service in a high volume environment (recruitment experience would be an advantage).
Certificate in HR Admin or equivalent work experience (recruitment activity/administration in dealing with customers).
GCSE English language and Maths - Grade 4 or above
Experience of using e- Systems and experience of using social media and internet platforms for recruitment or similar activity.
To have experience of providing face to face support to both in[1]house managers and those of our partners (ie schools).
Understanding of recruitment and selection processes/business administration and good practice in a large organisation
