Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A Primary School in the Hyde area of Tameside is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their SEND unit, providing essential support to children with complex requirements.

The Role:

Full-time, long-term position starting ASAP
Working in a specialist SEND unit supporting children with a range of complex needs
Providing tailored support to ensure children can access learning in a nurturing environment
Collaborating with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and supportive learning activities

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with vulnerable individuals, either in a school or care setting
A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with additional needs
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
