LevertonHELM manufactures a range of inorganic Lithium chemicals which are sold throughout the world. It is now expanding rapidly due to the growth of the Lithium-ion battery sector and has an excellent reputation for reliability and providing high quality products.

Job Purpose

Reporting directly to Senior Management as Project Accountant you will be responsible for gathering financial and operational data for the business and providing assessments and analysis of the data

You will focus on preparing business cases for major capital expenditure, project budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis of strategic projects and financial decisions.

Key Tasks

* Support projects in different stages (e.g., project schedule, budget control).

* Prepare Project Economics including financial model, valuation, risk-sensitivity analysis, developing possible scenarios.

* Lead project budget and forecast processes (financial and operational) within the Business Unit.

* Assisting project teams with financial guidance.

* Develop dashboards, visualisation and analytical solutions.

* Supporting of the business unit in economic questions, business management and decision taking.

* Collaboration with Sales, Operational Planning and Global Engineering: stock and product movements; support in efficiency and utilization analyses; operational cost analyses and controlling; development and implementation of a cost centre structure including SAP customization.

* Provision of standard and ad-hoc analyses for the heads of finance, operations, sales and planning as well as general management.

* Conducting business unit controlling, generating of regular reporting from SAP.

* Support in the development of cost controlling.

* Financial Analysis.

Knowledge, experience & skills

* Degree in business administration and/or CIMA qualified or in final stages (Strategic level).

* Previous practical experience in operations and project controlling incl. the development of a KPI's to measure performance and drive excellence.

* Understanding of the chemical industry or manufacturing plants would be advantageous.

* You have a strong affinity for finance, and you are an open contact person within the team as well as with external stakeholders.

* You enjoy sharing your knowledge and working on possible problems in a solution-oriented manner.

* Previous experience of using SAP is essential for this role.

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as other MS Office products.

* Working with cross functional teams

* Strong presenting, interpersonal and influencing skills.

* Commercially aware, with a perseverance to find to find the correct information/data.

* The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

* Excellent documentation and data mapping skills.
