As a Senior Social Worker in our Support and Safeguarding teams, you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families. This role provides opportunities for progression, professional development, and collaboration with other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children across Northamptonshire.

Our teams, spread across various offices including Northampton, Daventry, Corby, Kettering, and Wellingborough, are friendly, creative, and solution-focused. They work together to keep children and families together when it is safe to do so.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead a team of social workers, working to assess, plan, and implement interventions.
You'll work closely with families, other professionals, and statutory services to ensure best practice.
Use a relational practice approach to support children and young people.
Work within the legislative framework and be part of a team aiming to reduce risks and meet the unmet needs of children and families.About You

You'll be a qualified social worker with completed ASYE, registered with Social Work England, and have a passion for delivering best practice.
Extensive post-qualification experience in children and families social work within a statutory or voluntary organisation is highly desirable.
Experience in supporting less experienced social workers would be an advantage.
You will have a good understanding of the legislative framework and a clear ability to work with families to safeguard children.Benefits
