Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:00 - 17:00
Salary: Up to £32,000

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled Fabric Technician to join a leading Facilities Management company, working on a prestigious sites in Darlington and Sedgefield. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with excellent benefits and career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric and finishes

*

Performing basic carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling, and minor plumbing tasks

*

Conducting door repairs, ceiling tile replacements, and general handyman duties

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures

*

Liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain high service delivery standards

*

Assisting other engineers and supporting the wider maintenance team

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a Fabric Engineer or Maintenance Technician role within commercial buildings

*

Strong knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general building repairs

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

*

Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
