Role: History Teacher

Location: Bolton

Qualiteach is looking to recruit a skilled teacher of history for a mainstream secondary academy based within the Bolton area. The role will involve teaching history at KS3 & KS4 and previous experience teaching at both levels is a requirement.

The position is due to begin on 02/09/2024 and is offered on a full-time, ongoing basis until the end of the academic year.

The academy is a popular choice for families in the area and has a new state of the art build with modern equipment throughout. The academy is offering a generous rate of pay, ongoing CPD and free on-site parking.

Key Requirements:

* Ability to teach history up to KS4

* A passion for history with the ability to relate this passion to secondary age pupils

* Engaging approach

* Excellent communication skills

* Good behaviour management strategies

* Right to work in the UK

* PGCE with QTS or equivalent

* Hold and enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
